Beluga’s seem to be natural-born athletes.

South Africa’s national rugby team may have just found themselves a new mascot. We’re sorry springbok, but these skills cannot be denied.

The video was captured by Alon Kowen and posted on his personal Facebook page. We aren’t sure where this was taken, since the video mentions the South Pole, yet beluga’s are Arctic whales.

Regardless, the beluga is clearly a fan of rugby and is very excited to be playing with citizens of the Rugby World Cup champion, South Africa.

South Africa’s national team is called the Springboks

The South Africa Springboks defeated England in the World Cup final, Saturday, becoming the only team ever to lose a game in the pool stage and still win the tournament.

They also join the New Zealand All-Blacks as the only teams to win a World Cup and Rugby Championship in the same year.

Maybe England should think about adopting the beluga as their mascot. They are geographically closer and they could definitely use the beluga’s talent.
