All new and expectant mothers deserve their first baby shower to be everything they dreamed of and more, no matter who you are. Even if you’re a gorilla.

Let’s be real: we all hate logging onto Facebook only to see our timelines flooded with someone we haven’t talked to in years celebrating their little one on the way. Maybe they’re your old high school nemesis or an ex family member you don’t speak to, but either way you’d rather just see some memes and move on, right?

Yes, I’m serious.

That’s right, they have an Amazon Baby Registry with everything they feel the baby may need, from washable paint to sun dried fruit, should you feel so inclined to help this new mama out. If you’d rather help in other ways, there is also a baby food & supplies fund as well as a toy fund.

Our Primate team is overwhelmed with joy! Thank you to everyone who has donated to Tumani's baby shower thus far, your…

While as I write this the baby has still not arrived, plenty of it’s gifts already have thanks to their successful social media call-out. If you’re expecting and need a shower planned pronto, consider contacting the Audubon Zoo—they’ll take care of it for you.
