You’ve Goat To Be Kidding Me!
You know how you think about things that might happen during your day when you wake up in the morning? I bet having to fight off a cranky hungry goat isn’t one of them. A deputy sheriff in Georgia was in for a shocker after she got back from delivering civil papers to a home.
She heard something in her patrol car and when she went back to check out what it was, she found an eager driver had commandeered her vehicle. An inquisitive goat had climbed over to the driver’s side in her car and was busy making a meal out of her paperwork. Guess you could say her car was commangoated…
The deputy sheriff admitted to leaving her door open just in case she came across one of those crazy viscous dogs that’s ready to have a piece of her as she served papers in homes. When a dog is coming at you real fast, you probably don’t have time to think things through so diving into your car is definitely the best idea. Leaving the car door open is all good until a hollow horned mammal decides to make a grand appearance by being the unwelcome visitor in your car. This goat decided to be the boss and take the driver’s seat (literally) in her patrol car. What happened to courtesy, right?
The video of what happened was posted on Facebook and the goat was in the front seat busy eating away the paperwork that the deputy left in her car. You’d really think that it was a fancy meal the goat was having but it probably tasted something close to that to the animal as it was munching away at the papers without a care in the world.
The deputy tried to get the goat out of her car and let’s be honest, you’ll probably hold back a laugh just seeing her go round the car trying to figure out how she’ll get the goat to come out. A shove maybe? A push? The goat finally left the car but there’s no way it was leaving without some of that delicious paper. Its owners should really boost that goat’s diet because clearly, a hungry goat is an angry goat. After leaving the car with paper in its mouth, the deputy was now trying to get the papers out of the goat’s mouth in a sort of push or pull. Tug of war comes to mind but a sheriff versus a goat is not really what you’d expect.
The goat was having none of it and delivered a head-butt to the deputy sheriff’s knees and before she knew it, she was down. The department later wrote that despite the knock down that she received, she did not get hurt physically in the incident. Imagine having to explain what happened to the paperwork when she got back to work. Of course, she could always say the goat ate her paperwork.
