So this is what happens when celebrities say “Challenge Accepted.”

The only thing that seems to be keeping the sanity in our world are the endless challenges continuously popping up across social media. The #PillowDressChallenge, #DontRushChallenge, #StayAtHome (which seems to be the most challenging for some). These all, while mildly annoying, give people something to do instead of molding away into their couch. The newest challenge of the bunch, however, bucks the trend as it is the most insane challenge we’ve ever seen!

The All-In Challenge is not for mere mortals like us, although we do play an important part in it all. The challenge, created by Fanatics founder and executive chairman Michael Rubin, aims to be the “world’s largest digital fundraiser in history.” And boy, are they going for it.

The fundraiser is really just a mega-raffle/auction of our favorite celebrities. No, really. World-renowned names like Leonardo DiCaprio, Justin Timberlake, Allen Iverson, and Drizzy Drake, among many, many others, are all offering literal once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, all in the name of charity.

Most of the experiences are financially feasible for most everyday-people to enter, as it costs just $10 for 10 entries. That, for example, could get you in for a chance to play in the NBA Celebrity Game during All-Star Weekend, or be on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

But there’s a few that aren’t so attainable for run of the mill people like you and I. No offence, but not all of us can afford to bid $140,000–let alone $50,000–or the ultimate Tom Brady experience. Yes, those zeros are correct, I checked it thrice myself. Of course, even that doesn’t compare to the current bid price of $310,000 for Meek Mill’s 2018 Rolls Royce Phantom.

At the time of writing, the fundraiser had raised $6,104,812. Seeing as it only opened on April 14th, and is open till May 8th, they very well just might attain their goal of becoming the largest digital fundraiser of all time. Of course, that would just be a noteworthy footnote compared to their altruistic goal of feeding those in need.

After all, that is the driving force of this digital charity event. At a time when people are losing their income and struggling to find a means to feed their families, the All-In Challenge wants to alleviate the pain and worrying, as they noted on their website:

“Due to the widespread effects of COVID-19, many countries are facing an unprecedented shortage of food resources. Among those most in need: students who rely on currently closed schools for several of their meals each week; the newly unemployed who are facing uncertain circumstances; and a vulnerable elderly population sequestered in their homes without access to food.”

Partnering with Meals on Wheels, No Kid Hungry, and America’s Food Fund, which is associated with Feeding America and World Central Kitchen, the fundraiser aims to eliminate the uncertainties many unfortunately face today. Yet, they are doing a little more than just that.

The experiences all implicitly imply a return to a better tomorrow. It reminds us that this is not our permanent reality and that there will be a day when we reopen stadiums so we can have batting practice with A-Rod, and dine in our favorite restaurants with Quavo, or even just being able to open our front door to let our family and friends in to hear Justin Beiber serenading us.

Yes, you can still donate straight to the causes without entering the raffle but when we are bestowed an opportunity at an experience so rare that “rare” does not even define it, we can’t see why not. 100% of the proceeds go straight to the charities, so regardless of whether you win or not, you can feel mighty good about yourself.

If you do happen to win, then by golly, will you be feeling something.
