From Angelina Jolie’s sharp collection to Conan O’Brien’s hidden talents, you’d never have seen these coming.

Stars, they’re just like us! Or are they? It seems like their massive fortunes and fame separate us from celebrities, but in the end, they’re regular ole’ human beings. And as mere mortals, they laugh, they cry, and they have very common—or sometimes very uncommon—hobbies we might have never imagined.

Some celebrities are very open about what they enjoy doing while they’re not working, but others have been more reserved about their talents and passions. Today, we bring to you this precious information about your favorite celebrities and what they’re up to when they’re not at work. Some might really surprise you.

1. Angelina Jolie collects daggers

Angelina Jolie told W Magazine back in 2008 about her love for collecting daggers. It all started when her mom took her to buy her first daggers when she was 11 or 12 years old, and how it all evolved from that moment. She truly is a real-life Lara Croft.

2. Tom Hanks has over 100 typewriters

Hanks’ hobby of collecting antique typewriters began when he was 19. He now has 120 typewriters in his collection, he told the New York Times during an interview. Is it just us, or does this make him even more lovable?

3. Demi Moore has a huge vintage doll collection

Not only that, but she has also recently insured her collection for $2 million dollars. Moore told Harper’s Bazaar in 2019 that she collects dolls “by the roomful”, and that she started after divorcing Bruce Willis.

4. Leslie Mann is a pro at riding the unicycle

During an interview with Oprah, she told her that her best-hidden talent was riding a unicycle. When she was only 10 years old, she got one as a Christmas present and taught herself how to use it. Mann says that she can now do all sorts of tricks, which include cycling backward and jumping off curbs.

5. Conan O’Brien can tap dance

As a child, O’Brien told CNN, he had always wanted to take tap dance lessons as a result of growing up watching old movies. Charlie Chaplin was one of his biggest idols, so O’Brien was convinced he had to know how to tap dance to make it in show business. His parents always encouraged him and he started taking lessons from an early age. He really is a showbiz man!

6. Mike Tyson is a pigeon racer

A what again? Pigeon racing is the art of releasing homing pigeons from cages 100 miles away from their coop, which are then timed in their return to the coop. Did you ever imagine Mike Tyson having this as a hobby? Neither did we. But apparently, he started with this hobby as a kid while growing up in Brooklyn and never looked back.
